Book Spree:
Plans and oversees the annual Scholastic Book Fair as well as the Scholastic Mini-Book Spree on Fair Day. Works closely with Scholastic Book Fair reps and needs to be available all day on Fair Day and on each day of the Book Spree (five days), plus a set-up day and teacher preview day.
Time Commitment:
Work begins in September and continues in the lead-up to Fair Day. Additional planning takes place prior to the Book Spree, with a busy week during the Book Spree in the spring. Voting Member/One-Year Term/Must Attend All Monthly PA Meetings.

International Lunch Day:
The committee works with the 4th VP to organize a multi-cultural food festival that takes place in March. Responsible for decorating the campus the week of International Lunch Day and coordinating any preceding day-themed activities. Responsible for recruiting parent volunteers and soliciting the community for a variety of dishes that will be served to students and school personnel during lunchtime. Will need to work with facilities on set up and take down, as well as organize decorations, sign-ups, scheduling, reheating food, and delivery of leftover food to a local food bank.
Time Commitment:
Planning begins in November, with significant involvement during the week of Lunch Day in December.
Library Coordinators:
Helps school librarians coordinate library workshops, Maker Days, and other activities in the library. Facilitates February Book Drive leading into Book Spree.

Nominees for this position are jointly approved by the PA Executive Committee and the Curtis School librarians.
Student Lunch Service Committee Members:
Under the direction of the 4th VP, Student Lunch Services Coordinates and supervises the Monday through Friday Lunch Service Volunteer program and volunteer sign-ups via “sign-up genius". Chairs will coordinate to sign up to assist with Lower and Upper Elementary Lunch one day per week or according to his/her schedule.
Time Commitment:
Ongoing throughout the school year, with heavier involvement in the fall. Time commitment varies, but ideally includes one lunch period per week. Familiarity with SignUpGenius is recommended. Voting Member/One-Year Term/Must Attend All Monthly PA Meetings.
